There are, of course, many variables that can affect the amount of time it takes from contact to completion of your custom sauna. With that being said, here's how it usually goes:

From the first call to the finalized order, it usually takes about 3 weeks. This includes the initial 2D layout approval, any 3D sauna designs, and one round of revision. Then, from order to delivery, we're currently running about 8 weeks. During this time, we'll triple-check the measurements, select and cut your chosen sauna lumber, build benches, order in your chosen components and accessories, and crate it all together to ship out. While we're doing that, your electrician and handyman should be finishing any site prep that needs to be done.

Once everything is complete, shipping takes 7 to 10 days.

Once your sauna arrives (and we have confirmed that the site is prepared), we can schedule the actual install.

Please note: We can pencil in an install date, but we won't schedule the crew until after your sauna has arrived. We've learned this lesson the hard way too many times. We can usually get our crew there within 2 weeks of crate arrival.

The average custom sauna install takes about 5 days to complete.

That all adds up to about 21 weeks. So there you have it. From contract to completion, you're looking at about 3 months for an average custom sauna install.

No it does not. Your sauna will arrive broken down and carefully packed in a large crate. Roughly 4' wide x 8' long x 4' tall. An outdoor Pre-Built sauna arrives in two large crates! Your heater, rocks and other sauna accessories will arrive separately on a 4'x4' pallet.

Pre-Built: Your sauna is made to order. Please allow 6-8 weeks for indoor Pre-Built saunas, 8-12 weeks for outdoor Pre-Built saunas.

It is much less involved than building a custom sauna, but it is still a construction project! The walls come in panels that must be assembled and attached correctly. The benches are heavy and must be installed in the correct position using the hardware provided. The glass pieces must be carefully handled and installed correctly.

Since our pre-built saunas are made-to-order, the instructions provided are for general guidance, and not intended to be a perfect step-by-step for your exact model.

There are quite a few wires to run, even in a traditional sauna. Our panels ship with conduit pre-installed for all of your wires. After the structure is built those wires need to pulled through the conduit for: LED lights, temperature sensor, wall control, and heater.

A traditional sauna is a high-voltage appliance, final wiring of the electrical components and connection to your dedicated sauna circuit must be performed by a licensed electrician.

All of our Pre-Built saunas require at least 2 people to assemble. 3 people are recommended to install our outdoor models.

Your Pre-Built sauna will be delivered on a large truck, usually 40' or longer. If your location is inaccessible to a normal delivery truck you will need to make separate arrangements to pick your crate up at the shipping hub.
